Adversity shows up in everyone’s life at some point. Winds of adversity can threaten to blow you off course, sink your vessel, knock you down or destroy you. We learn in Scripture that we can mount up on wings like eagles that will fly into the storm and soar high above the harsh/violent wind. We also see in the Gospels how Jesus will walk up on your struggle in the storm – He may intend to walk right by, expecting you to use your faith and the believer’s authority! He will always stop and draw near when you simply call upon His name!
