Jesus tells us that “When we fast…” His expectation that believers would fast as part of their walk of faith. He let’s us know that when we fast God’s way, the Father who sees in secret, will reward you openly – that is a powerful move of God in your life that is unmistakably a supernatural touch from Jesus! We learn in Isaiah 58 that when we fast God’s way we receive powerful results!

1. Your light shall break forth – just like the sun comes up without fail and gives light to the world, the glory of God in you will shine forth and impact hearts and lives.

2. Your healing shall spring forth speedily – doubt and unbelief are dealt with during a fast. This leaves your faith unopposed by unbelief producing supernatural results.

3. You righteousness shall go before you – Your right standing with God will become very evident to all. The righteousness of Jesus in you will go before you – opening doors and removing obstacles

4. The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard – His glory will encompass you being your rear guard – He has your back!
