King David defeated Goliath – not because he was a strong and trained warrior, but because he knew God, knew the covenant and knew God’s character. He knew that God would fight for him! Distraction in today’s world is causing many people to neglect God and to neglect His Word. The result is not knowing God well at all. Without intimacy with Jesus, without genuine relationship with Jesus, the giants in life will live and destroy you. When you know God you can tell your giants what King David told Goliath – “This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, ad I will strike you and take your head from you.” Show no mercy to the enemies of your soul – addiction, anxiety, depression, lust, immorality – slay your giants in Jesus’ Name!!!
