Laying on of hands is the 4th foundational doctrine we see in Hebrews 6:1-2. Our hands are instruments the God has chosen to use to release His supernatural blessing and power. We see a clear pattern in the New Testament where laying on of hands is used for:
1. Prayer – to bless, strengthen and encourage others
2. Healing
3. To minister the Baptism of the Holy Spirit
4. For commission ministry – acknowledge the call of God, anoint, appoint and release ministers
5. To impart spiritual gifts
