The Doctrine of Baptisms is the 3rd Foundation Stone Christians must have set in stone in order to grow and mature in faith. There are 3 Baptisms every believer has the opportunity to experience.
- The Holy Spirit baptizing a Believer into the Body of Christ – This occurs when we are born again.
- Jesus baptizing a believer into the power of the Holy Spirit – This occurs after being born again as a separate experience from the New Birth.
- A believer baptizing another believer in water – This is a step of obedience to our Lord Jesus – obeying His command to be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
